The Dodge Hornet is a concept car that was unveiled by Dodge at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. The Hornet was a subcompact hatchback that was designed to appeal to a younger demographic and showcase Dodge's design direction for smaller cars. The concept featured a unique exterior design with aggressive styling elements, including a muscular stance, bold front grille, and distinctive headlights.
The interior of the Dodge Hornet concept was also high-tech and futuristic, with a floating dashboard design, digital instrument cluster, and integrated touchscreen infotainment system. The concept also featured a versatile seating configuration, with rear seats that could be folded flat to create more cargo space.
Despite generating a lot of interest and positive feedback, the Dodge Hornet concept never made it to production. However, some design elements and technology features from the concept eventually made their way into other Dodge models, such as the Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey.
